Fehler war #A1-4112; Filz von der Spule durch ein Stück Möbelfilzgleiter ersetzt, nun kommt #A1-4111. Dünneren Filz gewählt undnun ist es gut. Bei der Gelegenheit (Gehäuse offen) kann man auch die Lithiumknopfzelle tauschen. Danke für das Video, Gruß Spezibibo. Error was #A1-4112; Felt from the spool replaced with a piece of furniture felt glider, now comes #A1-4111. Chose thinner felt and now it's good. Great tutorial! Also very appreciated that you left the part where it didn't work. Helped with the understanding of all the aspects that needs to be considered. And you saved me (and the environment) the cost for a new printer. And for me it was the small rubber pillow that had slide down just a little bit. Pushed it back up and had to experiment on how to keep it in place with a small piece of electrical tape. The construction seems to be very sensitive to the thickness... But thanks to you're video I figured even that out.

The frother motor no longer spin. I swapped the black and red wires and now it works again.👍

Thanks so much Jack, you saved me replacing my 6260 printer with your clear instructions. I just added a little elastoplast tape to thicken the black pad and it did the trick. 🙂

Thanks! Seems I had a similar issue to @mascot4950 where the pad had sliped down. Moved back into place however I also tweaked the arm so it contacts sooner, meaning if the pad fails it may still keep working and just get noisy 😆

I've had my CLP-680DW for almost exactly 8 years now, and since I'm still on the original toner cartridges I figured the error couldn't really be due to some worn down part. Ten minutes later, and it's fixed. In my case the pad had slid out of place, and just gently pushing it back into place with my fingernail sorted it out.

Hi, i succesfully reverse the polarity of the magnets and my whisker starts to spin again (previously motor dead, not spinning at all). But now it only spins for about 4-5 seconds and it stops with red light blinking. Can anyone point what i possibly have done wrong? Thank you.

Thank you so much, I can see this video is 6 years old, but it still works! Just had this error on my CLX-6260FW. In my case the foam pad had moved downwards and was not making contact with the arm at all, so I pushed it back up and it's working! Woohoo! That was so easy, took like 10 mins, and it was free. My heart sunk when I first googled the error code and saw "motor failure". If the pad moves again I may replace it but now I know where to look. Thanks again, this is awesome.

Thanks for instructions. It works, but the foam in video was too thick, which results in the loud noice, you hear already in video. In addition bad prints and another error. After taking a foam of half thickness everthing OK.

Hello, mine's spinning erratically. Tends to spin for 4 or 5 seconds and stops. I did not catch which tool did you use for removing the two screws. It looks like the Allen kind of, but I doubt those fit the screws.🤔🤔

This printer is a workhorse. We have saved SO much money ruclips.net/user/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 . I've only filled the ink tanks once and have printed thousands of pages. The color is a little dull, but I will take the cost savings any day. It has trouble feeding envelopes, but other than that, I can't recommend it enough. I'm super super pleased with this printer and recommend it to all my friends.

Just saved me a lot of money as i just bought and installed all three color toners right before i got the fault... was as easy that the glue on the sponge isolation had sagged a little with time... Just scraped/pushed it back into place and voila.!! Thank you!!!
